In the midst of a world brimming with destruction and noise , whose headlines often shout messages that conflict with the peace and hope we find in Christ, we are called to remember the most important news of all – The Good news of the Gospel. We live in time when the need for the biblical truth and love has never be more urgent. The growing deception has led to the rise of heretical misconception and distortions of God’s message of truth by those who are eager to appease their own itching ears and those of their congregations by preaching a diluted, distorted gospel that is not rooted in the Holy scriptures. Unfortunately, this has resulted in a great deal of confusion and misguidance exposing many vulnerabilities to false teaching.
Apostle Paul warned us of this very thing when he said “For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead , to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear." 2 Timothy 4:3 And so , the reality of this age where voices are louder than ever and many are clamoring for teachings that are comfortable and aligned with their own desires rather than the unchanging truth of God’s word, is a radical call for us believers to package the message very well through consistent daily Bible reading and be able to run with it till the end.
But the question is ; Are we willing ? To not only be hearer but also doers? To bring about this light?
