A journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step. The first group of student was admitted in May 2013. However, after an interfaith service for all  students, the semester was good to start.

By the plan of God, Boniface Njoroge identified a new gap in this new environment [The Christian Union was missing] He went and shared this new identified problem with his friends Geoffrey Kihara and Peter Ng’anga and the three decided to consult Madam Jane Mugambi who was in the office of the student affairs. God was with them and so they were allowed to start a Christian union

LEADERSHIP

God was with them and so they were allowed to start a Christian union. They later approached DR. Fredrick Njoka to be their patron. Also the trinity fellowship joined them for the purpose of discipleship class followed by Mumu who was by then the

GROWTH

They were about twenty members Later in September 2013, a second group was admitted which brought a large growth in the CU. The two main ministries were discipleship and Prayer & Worship. It is at this time that the Bible Studies were introduced. The church was lively and warm. There were no instruments due to imbalance in leadership, the Bible Study Pastors joined the interim leadership and Mary Wangui became the CU Secretary.

FINALISING

May 6, 2013

A draft constitution was operational by then Mary Wangui became the CU Secretary. During this time the services were being held in the student mace and later to LC 1. It is during this moment that various department were implemented as per the constitution through God’s guidance. The journey of Christian Union was fully set and growth was taking place under the leadership of Christ. It’s our prayer that God will continue to manifest. To him be the Glory
